March is Ethics Awareness Month
Our next meeting is scheduled for March 10th, at Central Insurance Companies! Registration starts at 11:45 with lunch starting at 12:00. An Ethics workshop will be presented and lunch will be provided by Dave Finchum, Vice President of Swartz Contracting.
Please make your reservations by Wednesday, March 4th. You should have received an email survey on Friday February 13th. I am excited about this interactive workshop and I hope to see you all there! Please let me know if you did not receive the survey.
Upcoming meetings:
- April 9th we are hosting a webinar on Drones and their impact on Insurance, presented by Claire May, Marketing Manager for Central Insurance Company in Colorado. Claire has done extensive research on this ever evolving subject. You won’t want to miss this meeting!
- May 14th Rich Nouza will be speaking to us concerning the Legal side of things.
- We are working on a wine tour/tasting event where we hope to have a speaker on how to insure wineries and enjoy a little networking all at the same time – Stay tuned!
- Do you need CE? Swartz Contracting invites you to attend an Insurance Professional CE Summit to be held Tuesday, April 28th in Lima at the UNOH Event Center. 3 hours of CE credit are available in the morning on E&O Loss Control and 3 hours of CE credit are available in the afternoon on Unfair Claims Settlement Practices. Grand Lake CPCU Chapter has an opportunity for you to volunteer and 3 different ways!
- Community Service Committee
- We would love to have you join us as we plan for the 2015 year!
- We would love to have you join us as we plan for the 2015 year!
- Scholarship Committee
- For two years straight we have not had anyone qualify to receive the scholarship money
- We are hoping to develop a new marketing strategy and need ideas!
- Become a teacher
- Central Insurance will be offering a CPCU 555 class at the end of July
- Training and Education is looking for a teacher
- Instructors need to be secured by the end of May
- Let me know as soon as possible if you are interested!
