Grand Lake Chapter of CPCU partnered with CRDN and hosted "Hoarding-An Extreme Claim Situation"

On April 26, the Grand Lake Chapter of CPCU partnered with CRDN to host "Hoarding - An Extreme Claim Situation." A total of 57 attended the event, including CPCUs, local agents and staff from Central Mutual Insurance and Celina Insurance Group. The presenter was Paul Cousineau, international trainer and educator, and Vice President of CRDN of Michigan and Northwest Ohio. The two hour seminar examined hoarding and its impact on insurance claims. Those in attendance became aware of the necessary skills to identify when and to what degree hoarding is occurring. Loss risk control and underwriting actions were also addressed as they relate action to be considered when contemplating a potential piece of business.
